Our City Innovation Lab

We empower Detroit’s youth to reimagine, rebuild, and revitalize their city through innovation and entrepreneurship.

A 6-week intensive program where students dive into real-world projects, learn about entrepreneurship, and real estate.

Students earn college credits while creating a business, designing a pop up shop for their business, and building the pop up shop.

Students pitch their business and pop up shop to investors, stakeholders, and community members in a shark tank style event.

Our Vision

A thriving Detroit where every young person has the tools and opportunities to shape their community’s future.

Summer Innovators Academy: 6-week immersive experience in urban innovation and entrepreneurship.

Year-long Entrepreneurship Program: From business concept to pop-up shop design, in partnership with Lawrence Tech University.

Design Build at Yestermorrow: Bringing ideas to life through hands-on construction in Vermont.

Rose City Innovation Lab is transforming Detroit’s landscape, one young innovator at a time.
